Welcome to our adventures in the deep river canyons and majestic mountains of Idaho. We wish to share with you the unique beauty, challenge, and thrill of the Snake and Salmon rivers. Idaho Guide Service, Inc. is an owner-operated business with over 35 Years experience outfitting in Idaho. We specialize in small groups and custom trips with personalized service. This small group philosophy is also compatible with our use and care of the the areas which we traverse. All our expeditions practice ecologically sound camping techniques. Our appreciation for this country is matched only by the care we show for it.
We at Idaho Guide Service know from experience the any river or adventure trip is only as good as the guides who run them. While boats, other equipment and food are all important, we feel these are secondary to the attitude and philosophy of the guides and the company they work for and represent.
Because we are a small company that specializes in Idaho, we can offer you a more personalized trip, not just a commercial tour. Our guides are all licensed and bonded with the state of Idaho and have had extensive safety and first aid courses. All of our guides have hundreds of miles of rowing experience, and most have over a thousand. Our guides all live and work in Idaho. The Gardners have lived in Idaho and have been working as professional guides for over 30 years. This simply means that whichever trip you choose and guides you travel with, you are assured of competent, and congenial service. What we are offering is rapids and scenery, towering cliffs, solitude and canyon walls, mountains and streams, beautiful clear days and nights. All of our trips are really made up of three parts. The companionship of new-found friends, the unique area in which we are traveling through, and the action of the rapids or river we're on.
