Dear Olin & Shelley, I am back to my routine here in Houston, but I have to tell you, sometimes I find myself day-dreaming of floating down the clear cold Salmon River with the mountains all around….then I have to get my mind back to my office work! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. Your knowlwdge of the river, equipment, and cooking abilities were all so impressive. Alex and I had a wonderful time and found ALL of you (Olin, Shelley, Perri, Olin Marc, Daniel, Kirsten, Nathan) so easy and fun to share the days with. Thanks for everything!

Thank You, thank you! We had a GREAT trip down the Snake River this weekend. Your information of the river was very interesting, we all felt very secure with your guiding, and lunch hit the spot. I would definitely look into doing other river trips with Idaho Guide Service and will plan on bringing Trevor’s senior class next year for the senior trip. Thanks again.

Olin just wanted to thank you and Perri for a wonderful trip. Holly and I learned a lot about respect for the river and the workings of the water and land. Thanks again for a great time, hope to do it again soon.

Dear Olin and Shelly,
Thanks for the great adventure yesterday. It was outstanding!
The entire gang had a marvelous time with all expectations
being greatly exceeded.
The weather was great, the river was a thrill a minute,
the picnic was superb, and the services provided by you and
your staff made us feel like royalty.
Again, thanks!! I hope we can do this again.

I would like to thank you for your excellent service in outfitting
our trip down the Murtaugh section of the Snake last Saturday.
I must confess that even though most of our party were experienced
boaters, I was somewhat apprehensive about running the Murtaugh
class four and five rapids at 4000 cfs. I wasn't sure it
could be done safely in a raft at those flows. You and your
guides soon proved me wrong and instilled total confidence
in your ability to handle such technical water. Besides being
safe, the trip was downright fun, "too much fun to be
legal" as one member of our group pointed out. Running
a ten foot ledge drop in a raft is truly the thrill of a
lifetime. The trip ranked as one of the most interesting
and exciting I have taken in twenty years of boating. The
whitewater and scenery are outstanding, the canyon is spectacular.
Thank you for the excellent cuisine as well as your informative
comments on the history and geography of the canyon. You're
right, it is an "Urban wilderness". Best of luck
in your efforts to preserve it. I will definitely be back
Sincerely, Brett Sayer
Dear Olin and Shelly, Well, we made it home! You know,
that was one of the best vacations we've ever had! It was
so peaceful, and so scenic, and the company was great!
Thank you lots!

" The river, the company and the food were terrific, we can't
wait till next years Summer Adventure."
When the trip ended, I was ready to start all over again.
Thank you for a wonderful river experience!
I have thanked you many times while I often reflect on our
trip. A thousand thank you's for an ultimate memory..all
" We only wished we could have stayed longer. The Salmon
river is a hard place to leave behind, but we'll always
carry it in our memories."

I just wanted to drop you a note and say thanks for the
wonderful raft trip last weekend. I had a great time, and
it was very informative as well.
I am sorry that you and I did not have more time to talk,
but I think the trip provided me with a better understanding
of the issues involved with the management of the middle
Snake River. Your guides were very informative, and the whitewater
and scenery were spectacular. You run a great operation in
a beautiful part of Idaho.
I appreciate your hospitality and willingness to share your
opinions. If I can ever be of any additional help to you
please feel free to give me a call. I look foreward to hearing
